1. Acceptance of Terms
By signing up and using Ev-me as a driver, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, you are not authorized to use the service.

2. Driver Registration and Eligibility

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver’s license, and have access to a roadworthy electric vehicle (EV) to become a driver on the Ev-me platform.

  • Account Information: You are required to provide accurate and complete personal information, vehicle details, and any other documentation requested by Ev-me during the registration process.

  • Vehicle Requirements: Your vehicle must meet Ev-me’s standards, which include having insurance, being in good condition, and meeting all local regulations.

3. Driver Responsibilities

  • Ride Acceptance: You are required to accept ride requests promptly and provide timely service to passengers.

  • Conduct and Behavior: You must maintain professional behavior, courtesy, and respect towards passengers. Discrimination, harassment, or any form of abusive conduct is not tolerated.

  • Vehicle Maintenance: You are responsible for ensuring your vehicle is in good operating condition and regularly maintained.

4. Payment and Earnings

  • Earnings: You will receive a fare based on the distance, time, and other factors. Ev-me will deduct a commission from the fare before transferring earnings to you.

  • Payment Schedule: Payments for your completed rides will be processed periodically, and you will receive a statement of your earnings through the app.

  • Taxes: You are responsible for paying any taxes or fees associated with your earnings.

5. Data Collection and Privacy

  • Data Usage: Ev-me collects data regarding your location, vehicle status, and ride activity to manage rides and payments.

  • Data Sharing: We may share your personal data with service providers and legal authorities when required, but we will not sell your personal information to third parties.

6. Liability and Insurance

  • Insurance: You must maintain appropriate insurance coverage for your vehicle in accordance with local laws.

  • Liability: Ev-me is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or damages that may occur while driving for the platform. You are responsible for ensuring the safety of your passengers.

7. Termination and Suspension

  • Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions, including fraudulent activities, inappropriate behavior, or failure to meet safety standards.

  • Deactivation: Ev-me may temporarily deactivate your account if your vehicle is under maintenance or fails to meet platform standards.

8. Changes to Terms
We may update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. You will be notified of any significant changes. Continuing to use the platform signifies your acceptance of these changes.
